Sell your hair in Switzerland – Hair purchase for your braid

Earn money with your healthy hair braid – if it is of interest to us.

  • Of interest from 35 cm (the longer, the better)
  • The lighter, the better (natural colours preferred)
  • Important: We are not obliged to make an offer
  • Between CHF 50.– and CHF 500.–

Important rule: We only respond to requests that are of interest to us. If you do not receive a reply within 7 days, we are not interested in your hair braid.

Why sell your hair?

Do you live in Switzerland (or the EU) and are planning to cut your long, healthy hair soon? We purchase selected hair braids that are used to produce high-quality extensions. You decide whether you cut the braid yourself or have it cut professionally.

Important: We do not make flat-rate offers. Whether and at what price a braid is suitable for us depends on length, colour, condition and usability.

How our hair purchase works

In 4 steps:

  1. Tie your hair into a braid
  2. Take proper photos (braid + ruler, scale if applicable)
  3. Submit the hair purchase form
  4. If of interest: offer & further steps

Note: We only get in touch if we want to purchase the braid. No response within 7 days = no interest.

Very important: only the right photos lead to a good offer

To fairly assess the value of your hair, we need clear photos of the tied braid with length indication. Please do not send photos of loose hair. Loose hair cannot be reliably evaluated.

✅ What we need

  • Photo of the tied braid (whether still on the head or already cut)
  • A clearly readable ruler (ruler or measuring tape) directly next to the braid
  • If the braid is already cut: additionally a photo on a scale with clearly visible weight

Tip: Tie the braid tightly and neatly. The clearer the photos, the faster and more accurately we can assess whether your braid is of interest to us.

  • Photos of loose hair
  • Spread-out / fanned hair
  • Photos without a ruler
  • Blurry images or poor lighting

Important: If the photos are not suitable, we usually do not respond. No response within 7 days = no interest.

  • This is how the braid must be tied for cutting.
  • If you have a lot of hair, divide it into several braids.
  • This reduces length differences within one braid and allows more of the hair to be reused.
  • For a price estimate, we require the length and weight of the braid. Make sure to attach clear photos to the form.

Note: The final price depends on how much of the braid is actually usable (e.g. proportion of split or very young hair). We reserve the right to adjust offers accordingly.

Which hair we purchase

  • Healthy, neatly tied hair braids from 35 cm
  • As natural and chemically untreated as possible
  • Natural hair colours – the lighter, the better
  • Braid is clean, dry and properly documented (ruler / scale)

Which hair we do not purchase

  • Synthetic / plastic hair
  • Loose, unbound hair
  • Braids, rastas, dreadlocks or heavily matted hair
  • Hair pieces, wigs, toupees, wefts
  • Heavily chemically treated / severely damaged hair

Important conditions

  • No obligation to make an offer: We are not obliged to make an offer. We only respond to requests that are of interest to us.
  • No response within 7 days: This means we are not interested in your hair.
  • Cutting with us: ExtremeHair.ch is not a traditional hair salon. If you decide to have your hair cut by us, additional costs apply (minimum CHF 20.–), which will be deducted from the purchase price.
